Join Clarke Gayford on Fish of the Day on a journey through the Yasawa Islands.
As part of Fish of the Day’s carbon positive footprint this season, he is sailing to get closer to the fishing grounds. In part two of his journey, he shifts his focus to hunt for his fish of the day the flametail snapper. These fish are found in over 400 metres of water and, off the western-most islands of the Fiji group he battles giant snake mackerel and ruby snapper before, in the 11th hour, managing to land his quarry – the flametail snapper.
Then it’s back to his floating accommodation to cook up the catch.
