Join Clarke Gayford as he heads into the South Island high country in search of his fish of the day the Paua. He’s headed by helicopter to a remote luxury lodge more than a 1000 metres above sea level – Minaret Station. On the way catches a couple brown trout for lunch and then the day Clarke, the chef and his guide Beechy head by helicopter to the Westcoast of the South Island of New Zealand. They fly over stunning mountains, valleys and lakes to finally land and find Paua for chef Al to cook on one of the most remote beaches in New Zealand.
